Periodic works

The work that needs an empty building.

Deep cleans, floor care, carpets, glass and pressure cleaning, planned into your term breaks. Our own people and our own equipment, so there is no third party on site you did not choose.

How it gets scheduled

Your calendar decides the schedule, not ours.

Periodic works are set once a year against your site calendar, then confirmed term by term. Everything is quoted in writing and approved before it happens, so nothing arrives on an invoice you have not already seen. Floor works are priced per square metre. All pricing is ex GST.

When we take on a new school, floor reconditioning and carpet extraction are included at no extra cost as part of the day-one spring clean. It sets the standard we then hold for the life of the contract.

What periodic works covers.

Term break deep cleans

Four a year, one in every term break, and they are inside the contract rather than quoted on top. Admin areas, specialist rooms, and everywhere the daily clean cannot reach while a school is running. This is when we get into the places that need an empty building: high dusting, inside cupboards, behind equipment, science and art room sinks, staff kitchens.

Hard floor care

Vinyl stripping, sealing, scrubbing and buffing, and gym floor polishing. Sports halls are the one most schools notice, because a properly finished floor changes how a space photographs and how it plays. Priced per square metre and scheduled into a break so nothing gets cordoned off mid-term.

Carpet steam extraction

Hot water extraction for classrooms, libraries, staff rooms and boarding common areas. We plan drying time around your calendar rather than leaving a room out of action the day before an event.

Tile and grout restoration

Bathroom and change room grout takes on a colour that ordinary cleaning cannot shift. Restoration brings it back to a defensible standard, which matters most in boarding bathrooms and any block a parent will walk through.

High pressure cleaning

Walkways, undercover areas, entry statements, bin bays and play surfaces. Usually the cheapest single thing a school can do to change how the campus reads on an open day.

Window cleaning

Internal and external glass, including the door panels and glass partitions that get touched a hundred times a day and rarely appear on anyone's schedule.
