Who we are

A Perth cleaning company that only cleans schools.

Founded in 2018, owner-operated, and based in Shenton Park. Thirteen independent and Catholic school campuses across the Perth metropolitan area, cleaned by 180 people we employ directly.

Our purpose

To make life easier for school staff.

Every part of how Intrepid operates comes back to reducing the load on the people who run a school. The supervision model, the communication, the scope. A Business Manager should be able to go a full term without thinking about cleaning at all.

What we hold ourselves to

Three values, and the mechanisms behind them.

Partnership, inside and out

We act as an extension of your facilities team. We also treat our own cleaners well, because stable, respected staff are the ones who hold a standard when nobody is watching.

Innovative and continuous improving

Technology applied to actual cleaning problems, not for its own sake. Digital inspections, checklists, and GPS means your team never has to chase us.

Highly accountable

If we say we will do something, we do it. Every issue raised has a record of how and when it was resolved, with changes made so it does not recur.

The two owners

Owner-operated since 2018.

Patrick Elliott

Patrick Elliott

Managing Director

Pat co-founded Intrepid on a straightforward idea: that Perth's independent and Catholic schools deserve a cleaning partner who understands campus life, rather than a commercial cleaner that happens to take school contracts. He works directly with schools on contracts, kick-off meetings and the systems behind the service.

Robert Tomlin

Robert Tomlin

Director

Rob co-founded Intrepid in 2018 and runs the operational side of the business. Contracts Managers and the Business Support Manager report to him. His job is making sure the standard set in the first week of a contract is the standard still being held in its fourth year.
